Christmas Tree Permits

The Cabins at Bear River Lodge will begin its 14th year of selling permits to cut Christmas Trees in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest on Saturday, November 20, 2010. Bring family and friends and join us in making this an annual tradition!

DETAILS:
$10 per permit with a limit of one permit per residence. Each permit allows the holder to cut one tree up to 12 feet tall.

The cutting area is in the Evanston Ranger District south of The Cabins at Bear River Lodge. Maps are provided outlining the cutting area.

Permits will be available daily from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, excluding Thanksgiving day.

REMEMBER:
Bring a saw to cut down your tree.

Dress warmly. Check out our live weather cameras for current conditions.

Most tree cutting areas can be accessed by car. However, four-wheel drive is a plus.
