Construction has started

Construction has started! Today we poured the footings for the pool house. This will be a great addition to the property. Lots of activity will be taking place during the next week. Here is the optimistic construction schedule:

Friday, June 27 - Dig basement for Cabin 6, start landscaping around cabins 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, begin grading parking lot

Saturday, June 28 - Frame footings for Cabin 6, continue grading parking lot

Monday, June 29 - Continue grading parking lot and continue landscaping

Tuesday, July 1 - Pour foundation for pool house and footings for Cabin 6

Wednesday, July 2 - Logs are delivered

Thursday, July 3 - Pour foundation for Cabin 6 and floor for pool house, finish landscaping and grading

Friday July 4 through Sunday July 6 - Shut down construction for holiday

That is our optimistic schedule for the next 7 days. However, since we were supposed to pour footings for Cabin 6 today and we haven't even finished digging the basement, and we were supposed to pour the pool house footings at 10:00 AM this morning and the cement truck showed up at 3:00 PM, I am not holding my breath on any of the above schedule.

We will continue to do our best and work with what we are given.

The snow has continued to melt away and the temperatures are rising.

The ATV riding is exceptional. Did you know we have access to approximately 400 miles of trails from The Cabins at Bear River Lodge?

We have started construction on Cabin 6 (the first five bedroom cabin) and the swimming pool.

The foundations for both will be poured starting next week.

A New Arrival!

Calvin and Ashton Winder are happy to announce the birth of thier baby, Camden Layne Winder. Ashton runs our reservations office and Calvin works with cabin sales and management. Camden was born one week ago today, June 2, at 11:24 am. He was 6 lbs 14 oz and 20.5 inches.
Camden is Roger Eggett's first grandchild (and first boy in the family)! We are all very excited. So, if you had trouble getting through to the reservations office last week, you now know the reason! Ashton is back to answering the phones, so please feel free to call the reservations office at (801) 798-1008 any time. Last Call Club - Half off Cabin Rentals

Do you ever get the urge to take a last minute getaway? If so, the Last Call Club may be just what you need to keep your getaways affordable and close to home with unlimited recreation opportunities.

The Last Call Club allows members to reserve any cabin 24 hours in advance for just half the regular rates.

Do you want to stay more than one night? Last Call members can book two nights at a time. Of course, all reservations are subject to availability.

Here is how it works - it's Thursday and you decide you want to get away for the weekend. You can call anytime Thursday and make reservations for Friday night. If you want, you can add Saturday night at the same time. Best of all you are paying half the regular rates.
